Dean Harrison

Chief Executive Officer

Dean Harrison attended Florida State University where he played baseball and earned his degree in Political Science.

Upon graduating college, Dean and a friend started Harrington Management, a music management company based in Atlanta, GA. They managed multi-platinum recording artist Edwin McCain, among others. He concurrently attended Villanova University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctorate degree in 1997.

Dean left the music business in 2001 to pursue new challenges alongside his father and sister Brett at Harrison Beverage. He now serves as the company’s Chairman and CEO. Under Dean and Brett’s leadership, Harrison Beverage has evolved into a total beverage distributor adding wine, spirits and various craft beers to their portfolio.

Dean is enthusiastically involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City. He was recently inducted into the Atlantic City High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Dean grew up in Margate and currently resides in Linwood. He enjoys coaching, skiing and biking. His ultimate passion is spending time with his wife Angela and their children Ryder, Shayne and Remi. His favorite beer is Golden Road Mango Cart.

Brett Matik

President

Brett Matik holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. Brett joined Harrison Beverage in 1998 after a couple years working for Anheuser-Busch.

Brett is actively involved in the community working with school and community organizations to prevent underage drinking and drunk driving. She serves as an AtlantiCare Board Member, Chairperson for the Women’s Forum and is on the Board of Directors for English Creek Assurance, Bevcap Captive Insurance and the John Elliott Foundation. She is also currently on the State Alcoholic Beverage Advisory Board as the only Beer Wholesaler Representative. Brett was recently elected as Chairwoman of the Atlantic County Economic Alliance.

As the mother of two sons, Brett resides in Linwood, NJ with her husband Darren. Her favorite beer is Hoegaarden.

Office Management

Joshua Lubeck

Executive Vice President Finance

Josh Lubeck began his career with Harrison Beverage in 1996.

He has his undergraduate in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and Management Information Systems both from Drexel University.

Josh currently resides in Linwood with his wife, two daughters and pets Willow and Grayson.

 His favorite beer is Mike’s Lite.

Bill Morris

Senior Director of Administration

Bill Morris graduated with both a Marketing Degree and his MBA from Rowan University. Afterwards he went on to work for Victory Beverage for 3 years before landing his career with Harrison Beverage in 2007.

Bill currently resides in Upper Township with his wife Lindsey, two kids and his two killer Chihuahua’s. His favorite beer is Tuckahoe Quatrain.

Julie Fazio

Accounts Receivable Manager
Julie Fazio attended community college in Baltimore, Maryland where she was born and raised. She received certificates in Accounting and Business Management and then relocated to New Jersey where she began her employment with Turner Electrical as an Office Manager.

When Turner Electrical moved their business to South Carolina, Julie chose to stay in South Jersey. Turner Electrical was on the Board of the ShopRite LPGA Classic and Ruth Harrison (the wife of previous owner Larry Harrison) was an Executive Director. Ruth knew Julie both personally and professionally and chose to hire her for her strong work ethic.

Julie was employed with the ShopRite LPGA Classic for 10 years which then led her to her employment with Harrison Beverage in 2010. She began her career as the Inventory and IT Specialist with various roles in Accounting. Julie was then promoted to Accounts Receivable Manager.

Julie currently resides in Cape May County, NJ with her husband of 28 years Bill and their son Matthew. Her favorite beer is Amstel Light.

Sales Management

Brett Leopardi

Executive Vice President 

Brett Leopardi started in the beer business in 1990 as a helper on the delivery trucks at Harrison Beverage and was also one of the on-premise promotional team members.

After graduating college in 1991, Brett became a Sales Rep for an AB Distributor in Cincinnati, Ohio, called Heidelberg Distributing Company. He stayed in that role for 7 years before moving on to Heineken USA Brewery as a Distributor Manager responsible for 3 large Ohio markets, Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati.

In 2001, Brett transferred with HUSA back to New Jersey and maintained the role of District Manager for 3 Distributors, Ritchie & Page, Harrison Beverage, and Warren South. In 2007 he left HUSA and came back to work for Harrison Beverage as a Brand Manager when Anheuser-Busch and InBev merged. After 2 years in that role he became a Sales Supervisor. 5 years later he was promoted to Vice President of Sales.

Brett currently resides in Northfield, NJ with his 2 kids and wife Renee. His favorite beer is Amstel Light.

James Kauffman

Sales Execution Coordinator and Brand Manager
Jim Kauffman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Misericordia University. He began his career as a Sales Rep in 1996 and then left for a bit to be the Area Sales Manager in Philadelphia for Coco-Cola Bottling Company.

After that he became the District Manager for Mikes Hard Lemonade. In 2004 he returned to Harrison Beverage as a Team Leader. As roles developed Jim was promoted to Brand Management and then again to our SEC.

Jim resides in Northfield with his wife Grace and twin sons Joseph and John. His favorite beer is Budweiser.

Buddy Phillips

Team Leader and Casino Manager

Buddy grew up in Somers Point. He later moved to Philadelphia where he attended St. Joseph’s University and graduated with his Bachelors Degree in Marketing from the Haub school of Business. His love for the beach brought him back to New jersey where he now lives with his wife, daughter, and family dog. When Buddy isn’t spending time outdoors, you can catch him watching the Flyers! Whether he’s watching at home, Fred’s or live at the Wells Fargo center, he never misses a game.

Buddy started with Harrison as a Merchandiser, then moved on to Sales and is presently a Team Leader. He has been with the company for over 10 years! His success in the industry stems from him wanting to make sure everyone has a great time, no matter what the occasion. Buddy always makes sure his accounts are equipped so that their guests have the best experience! His favorite beer is Kona Big wave.

 

Megan (Smith) Baerman

Senior Team Leader and Director of Marketing 
Meg Baerman’s love for sales and promotion began in North Carolina in 2003 during her junior year of college as a Contemporary Marketing Representative at R.H. Barringer Distributing Co. where she ran their promotions department introducing college students and millennials to Anheuser-Busch products.

A year after graduating from college she moved to Raleigh, NC as a Sales Rep at Harris Wholesale responsible for her first sales route. After 7 years in North Carolina she moved back home to NJ and began working for Harrison Beverage as a Sales Rep in 2006.

She is currently responsible for a team of Sales Reps, the on-premise Resort team as well as our company’s marketing efforts. She has over 16 years of Sales experience in the beverage industry with 7 years in Management.

Megan graduated from High Point University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with minors in both Marketing and Management Information Systems. While at High Point University she was an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority where her love for Philanthropy began. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Hans and Dolores Levy Foundation.

Meg was born and raised in Mt. Laurel, NJ and currently resides in Shamong, NJ with her husband Luke. Her favorite beer is Stella Artois. Her favorite wines are our Organic Viento Aliseo Rosado and the Familia Colombi Grand Reserve Malbec from Argentina.

Kim (Roegiers) Hayden

Craft Brand Manager
Kim Hayden graduated from the University of Delaware with her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Minor in History. In 2002 she was hired as a Contemporary Marketing Team Rep to promote Bud Light at the Jersey Shore. In 2003 she was hired full time as a Merchandiser. In 2004 she was promoted to a sales route and managed the new CMT along with 4 promo reps.

Then in 2005 she went to work for Anheuser-Busch in Upstate New York as an On Premise Marketing Coordinator monitoring wholesalers on premise activations making sure they were in compliance with quarterly programs.

In 2006 she returned to Harrison Beverage as the Craft Brand Manager and now oversees Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Super Premium segment along with 15 independent craft suppliers.

Kim is active in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May counties as well as Gildas Club South Jersey. She lives in Northfield with her husband and 5 year old son. Her favorite style of beer is Belgian Ales.

Doug Tracey

Craft & High End Brand Manager

Doug grew up in Burlington County and spent all of his summers in Cape May. After attending The Ohio State University he moved down to the Jersey Shore full time where he lives with his wife Ashley and their two children Walker and Willow.

Doug came to us with 12 years of sales experience with his last 5 in the craft beer industry with Founders Brewing Company and Cape May Brewery.

When Doug is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach and watching his favorite sports teams. His favorite beer at the moment is Victory Brotherly Love

Dara Scheck

Wine Sales Manager
Dara Scheck is a graduate from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. She has over 8 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry where she worked her way up the ladder into Management.

She was born and raised in Cold Spring, New York, in the heart of the Hudson Valley and currently resides in Absecon, NJ. This is where she gets her expected love for nature and the outdoors where she enjoys spending her free time, as well as competitively playing soccer in her co-ed league.

Dara has been enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trusts (WSET) level 2 and is dedicated to continuing her education. Her favorite wine would be the Argenses Torrontes, from Mendoza because of its unique floral and peach aromas. But she can always go for a glass of robust Lodi Zinfandel.

Kyle Davis

Merchandising and Category Space Manager
Kyle Davis graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelors Degree in Management with a minor in Business.

Kyle has been employed at Harrison Beverage since 2013 and it didn’t take long for Kyle to be promoted to management shortly thereafter.

He currently resides in Northfield. Kyle’s favorite beer is Kona Big Wave, but he does enjoy his fair share of Bud Light!

Amy Scannell

Graphic Artist Department Manager
Amy Scannell graduated from Stockton University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts.

She has been employed with Harrison Beverage for 20 years. Amy resides in Galloway Township with her husband and 3 kids.

Jack Stretch

Vice President of Operations

Jack Stretch began his career with Harrison Beverage 37 years ago as a Class A Driver. He delivered beer for 13 years before being promoted to Night Crew Supervisor. 13 years after that he became the Senior Director of Operations.

Jack lives in Dorothy and is the proud father of 1 daughter and 3 sons. His favorite beer is none other than the #1 brand, Bud Light.

William Panchesine

Inventory Coordinator and Operations Manager
Bill Panchesine has been employed with Harrison Beverage since 2001. He started as a summer helper on the trucks and then became a driver in 2002.

In 2003 he began working night crew loading trucks for delivery. He was promoted two years later to Night Crew Supervisor. Then in 2016 he was promoted to his current position as our Inventory Coordinator and Operations Manager.

Bill’s favorite beer is Bud Light!

Robert Arrom

Assistant Inventory Manager
Bob Arrom started at Harrison Beverage in 2010 as a night shift forklift operator. In 2012 he became our Night Shift Supervisor. Then in 2017 he was promoted as an Assistant Inventory Manager. Bob has been married for 26 years and has 3 beautiful children. Bud Light is his favorite beer!

Joseph Petaccio Jr.

Warehouse Supervisor

Joe Petaccio started his career at Harrison Beverage in March of 1979 as a route jumper. 27 years later he was promoted to Warehouse Supervisor.

He’s been married to his wife Brenda for 37 years and has a 32 year old son named Vincent and a 29 year old daughter, Victoria. His favorite beer is Bud Light.

Richard VanSyckle

Director of Operations
Rich has been with Harrison Beverage for 15 years. He started out as a helper on the truck. Throughout the years he’s worked as both a delivery driver and a forklift operator.

He’s originally from Pleasantville, NJ and now lives in Galloway, NJ. Rich is a proud father to his first child, Bodhi who was born this past July of 2019. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, spending time with his family, and enjoys going to the beach in the summer time.

His favorite beer is Bud Light!

Toby Apostle

Night Crew Supervisor

Toby started at Harrison Beverage in the Spring of 2013 as a Night Crew Forklift Operator. In Fall of 2016 he was promoted to Night Crew Supervisor. Toby’s favorite beer is none other than Bud Light!
